At Inks Direct, the safety and well being of our staff is of critical importance to us.
In any event that one of our staff are treated without respect, we reserve the right to withdraw service, dialogue and terminate any agreement with the customer concerned. We also may need to take action to protect our colleagues where required by referring the matter to the relevant authorities.
No member of staff should be required or feel obliged to deal with any customer either face to face, over the phone or in correspondence, who is exhibiting threatening, abusive or violent behaviour. Threatening behaviour is defined as, but not limited to, threats of violence to members of staff or any other person which is, for example; sexist, racist or homophobic; including intimidating language, swearing and/or aggressive body language.
Incidents of this nature while rare are formally logged and followed up where applicable to ensure the correct safeguarding is in place to maintain a safe working environment for our staff.
We deem the publishing of unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene and objectionable material to be unacceptable. In isolated cases we may choose not to reply and may remove any material that falls into this category.
